Content

con·tent

/kənˈtent/
noun

the information and experiences that are directed toward an end-user or audience. Content is “something that is to be expressed through some medium, as speech, writing or any of various arts”

Content can get real confusing, real fast. It’s like it multiplies on its own. Someone creates a document, sends it to someone else, who makes changes, but doesn’t tell the first person. Now there are two versions (probably more) and the confusion begins.

Content is a lot of things: test data, pharmaceutical and life science labeling, marketing materials. Basically, if you can read it, it’s content. And that content needs to be managed and controlled so it doesn’t spiral out of control, and you have a employee at one location using something that’s 6 months old, and it totally out of date.

So, how do we handle this? We use our process, The Glemser Way, just like with everything else. First, we analyse. How do you currently handle your content? Where are the traps that result in non-compliant data?

Next, we innovate. We create a system that allows for compliant data to be regularly handled in all the situations it needs to be in. No manually copy-and-pasting, no passing files back and forth. We build something that’s robust, and as close to fool-proof as possible.

Finally, we implement our new solution. Are there going to be growing pains? Probably. But we do our best to minimise them, and we make sure everyone knows what’s going on.
