JOB FUNCTION­

Delivers the quality management software to customers, primarily in the Life Sciences industry. Performs implementations utilizing an SDLC-based methodology. Conducts requirements definition exercises, builds prototypes, facilitates end-user evaluation, delivers training and participates in go-live activities. Maintains a high level of awareness of product offerings as well as industry trends and regulations.

LOCATION

Primarily off-site at customer location(s), working days will be spent on-site with customers. Frequent travel is required out of state.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in the identification of project scope, objectives, timeline and critical success factors to support the sales team in the development of high quality responses to requests for proposals to win new business
  • Collects and analyzes business and functional requirements of our customers by reviewing supplied documentation and conducting requirement workshops and interviews.
  • Produces project documentation according to a published implementation methodology.
  • Advises customers on design approaches
  • Works with customer to evaluate and develop logical workflows which will be configured.
  • Maintains constant communication with project team members and internal staff regarding project status.
  • Installs the product suite using automated installation tools.
  • Delivers and tests product configuration based on established requirements.
  • Performs report development and customization using reporting tools.
  • Trains product administrator users in the overall product configuration and reporting tools to enable handoff of the system to a customer administrator post-implementation.
  • Conducts end-user training by developing and delivering content tailored to the specific business application and configuration performed.
  • Produces documentation for and participates in the Computer Systems Validation (CSV) effort, including the execution of validation discrepancy handling.
  • Implements products in conjunction with 21 CFR Part 11 (Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and related regulations (including ISO and European authority regulations).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer Science or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent with excellent GPA
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Understands software concepts and technology, such as Java

JOB FUNCTION

A project manager is responsible for managing the planning, execution and communication required as part of the delivery of a quality solution, or an Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Natural Language Generation (NLG)or complex contract management that meets or exceeds customer requirements and expectations.

LOCATION

Assigned to Glemser office in Bethlehem, PA or Naas, Ireland.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in the identification of project scope, objectives, timeline and critical success factors to support the sales team in the development of high quality responses to requests for proposals to win new business
  • Works closely with the project owner, and coordinates and leads large projects in the transition from sales and marketing into professional services
  • Works with the project owner, team leads, and assistant project managers to develop, update, and communicate the project plan to ensure that the project meets the client’s timeline
  • Manages the project budget in accordance with the project plan to ensure that the costs meet the client’s expectations and maintain the guidelines specified in the contract
  • Communicates the project status, progress, scope and budget on a regular basis to ensure a successful project that meets the customer’s and the team’s expectations
  • Maintains and reports meeting minutes, project metrics and meeting schedules in coordination with the company standards
  • Works closely with the project owner to manage billable versus non-billable project time, and controls expenses to adhere to the company’s guidelines and the client’s expectations
  • Controls scope and generates project change control documentation as needed to support issues extraneous to the contract
  • Communicates with the project owner and managers to effectively staff the project and maintain necessary resources throughout the project to successfully meet all project deliverables
  • Proactively identifies and communicates customer issues and concerns to management in support of a positive client business relationship and to grow new opportunities within a client company
  • Participates in sales and marketing activities to seek out new opportunities and obtain new business
  • Performs additional tasks as required to be a valued consultant and to promote the company’s growth

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Writes project deliverables clearly including emails, meeting minutes, assessments and reports
  • Asks and answers questions clearly and succinctly
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Breaks down goals to measurable activities
  • Schedules meetings efficiently, show up on time, end on time and follow up on action items
  • Drives behaviors to achieve results on time and on budget, operates “large and in charge” not administratively
  • BA/BS in Mathematics, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
  • Excellent logical and analytical skills
  • Desire to take an active role with our client base, i.e., must be comfortable in speaking with customers, and being able to prepare for and moderate meetings of up to ten people
  • Excellent presentation skills; ability to clearly and concisely articulate a message and persuade an audience.
  • 5-10 years of experience implementing processes and systems in life sciences
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus

The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem is an indoor shopping mall located inside the Wind Creek Bethlehem casino resort. It opened on November 1, 2011 and connects the casino and the hotel.

Wind Creek Casino

In 2007, the 126-acre former Bethlehem Steel plant was purchased by Las Vegas Sands Corp. Demonstrating a commitment to preservation, the area was remediated in accordance with the site-specific environmental standard. In 2019, the property was acquired by Wind Creek Hospitality. Wind Creek is currently working with ArtsQuest, PBS and the National Museum of Industrial History on programs to rejuvenate the community.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom is an American amusement and water park owned and operated by Cedar Fair. It features some of the world’s most prominent roller coasters, including Steel Force, the ninth longest steel roller coaster in the world and the second longest on the U.S. East Coast.

Lehigh Valley IronPigs

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs is a professional Minor League Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The team plays their home games at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The IronPigs name is a reference to pig iron, used in the manufacturing of steel, for which the Lehigh Valley region is world-renowned.

Lehigh Valley Phantoms

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms is a professional Minor League Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers. The team plays their home games at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In 2014, the Phantoms introduced their new mascot, MeLVin, a Puck-Nosed Pladottle who wears the number 55, which is LV in Roman numerals. The LV is an homage to the team’s hometown, the Lehigh Valley.

Brew Works

Fegley Brew Works is a Lehigh Valley brewery that has two locations: one in downtown Allentown and one in downtown Bethlehem. The downtown Bethlehem location has its own production line including many award winning selections and a few unique seasonal. The breweries operate from 100% renewable energy sources including solar and wind. Their kettle and mash tun, serving tanks and fermenters sit in full view and you can often see the brewing process as you wait for your own pint. You know you’re receiving the best and freshest brews when the serving tank is just a few feet away!

Musikfest

Every August since 1984, Bethlehem hosts the nation’s largest non-gated free music festival. Held throughout town and at the SteelStacks in the shadow of the former Bethlehem Steel mill, there are more than 500 performances during this 10-day extravaganza. With so many performances, you are sure to find something that matches your musical taste. In addition to the free concerts, there are also paid concerts held nightly featuring some of the biggest bands in the world.–

Jigginstown Castle

Jigginstown Castle is a 17th-century castle built in the late 1630s under King Charles I reign. It was considered the largest building in Ireland during that time. Thomas Wentworth, the Earl of Stafford built the castle so the King could reside in it during a royal visit to Ireland.
